The maple leaf on this Canadian Boxed flag is made with a reinforced mesh under cement.

The idea is to have a flag design that is more "organic" and not in any common styled format.

This was then fitted in a 3D style (raised from the back surface) and built into a boxed frame.

It was kept compact in the styling but framed to give the cement sculptured maple leaf some protection.

SIZE - 18,5 inches wide x 19 inches high and it is 5,5 inches deep.

Other than the maple leaf the entire box frame is made from reclaimed wood and has already stood the test of time out in the "wild", yet it now has a coat of paint and another coat of varnish over everything.

Right now, I am testing it in a lovely Brantford Summer rainstorm. I am 100% confident that it will be just fine out there.
